Domain Controller
Samba 4 Active Directory running on a cloud Linux VPS — the heart of the domain, serving DNS, Kerberos, and LDAP over an encrypted mesh network.
A one-person corporate network, built entirely for the love of it.
Real Active Directory. A fleet spanning Windows 7 through 11. Cloud identity, self-hosted media, and an encrypted mesh tying it all together — running out of Knoxville, Tennessee.
// WHAT THIS IS
INTCOMS is a passion project: a fully functional, enterprise-style IT environment built from scratch by one person, on personal hardware and a modest cloud budget. No clients, no revenue targets — just the question, "how far can a homelab go?"
The answer so far: a genuine Active Directory domain where machines from the Windows 7 era sign in right alongside Windows 11, Group Policy pushing branded wallpapers across the fleet, cloud identity through Microsoft Entra, and a self-hosted media server streaming to the public internet — every piece configured, secured, and maintained by hand.
